On the evening of June 27, at Sam Son City Sea Square, Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee held the opening ceremony of the Thanh Hoa Culinary Culture Festival 2024 with the theme "Dense identity - Brilliant quintessence".

Nowadays, along with the development of the tourism industry, culinary culture has become one of the factors that have great appeal to tourists and is an important tourism product. Through tourism, the culinary culture of each region has reached a large number of tourists. And in the opposite direction, culinary culture tourism directs tourists to experience the daily life and spirit, delicious dishes, food, specialties associated with traditions and cultural identity. From there, tourists can immerse themselves in the most authentic way to better understand and love the life and people of the land they visit.
The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Tourism Development Steering Committee, emphasized: In the cultural and culinary picture of Vietnam's regions, Thanh cuisine is also considered diverse and rich, with many famous dishes, satisfying domestic and foreign diners such as: Nem chua, goi nhech, phi Cau Sai, rau ma salad, cha tom, banh gai Tu Tru, che lam Phu Quang... Along with that are the unique cultural beauties of 7 ethnic groups including: Kinh, Muong, Thai, Dao, Mong, Kho Mu, Tho living together in Thanh land.

Thanh Hoa Culinary Culture Festival 2024 takes place from June 27 to 30, 2024, with many attractive events and activities such as: Introducing and experiencing cuisine and OCOP products; demonstrating culinary processing, cocktail mixing...; unique cultural and artistic performances, recreating the cultural space of ethnic minorities, games, folk performances...; programs to stimulate and promote attractive tourism products; honoring typical tourism businesses, units and booths at the event.
In particular, with a scale of more than 100 booths, the Thanh Hoa Culinary Culture Festival 2024 aims to become a festival of the Thanh Hoa tourism industry, an opportunity to honor and widely promote the characteristics of traditional local culinary culture; an opportunity for businesses, restaurants, hotels, culinary experts, chefs to promote their brands, exchange, learn from experiences, add to the menu diverse delicious dishes from different regions, thereby improving service quality, developing specialties, and cuisine into unique and attractive tourism products, meeting the diverse needs and preferences of tourists.
