On the evening of February 10 (January 13), at the special national relic site of the tombs and temples of the Tran Dynasty kings, Tien Duc commune (Hung Ha), the opening ceremony of the Tran Temple Festival 2025 took place. Attending the event were comrade Tran Quoc Vuong, former member of the Politburo, former Standing member of the Party Central Committee Secretariat; comrades of the Party Central Committee; leaders of central ministries, departments, branches, provinces and cities in the region.

The Tran Temple Festival is a spiritual cultural activity in early spring to commemorate and pay tribute to the merits of the kings, queens, princesses, and generals of the Tran Dynasty in the ancient homeland of Long Hung - today's Hung Ha. This is the place where the Tran Dynasty was founded, where historical imprints are closely associated with the Tran Dynasty, where the Tran family started their career, and also the resting place of the Tran Dynasty's ancestors. In 2014, the tombs and temples of the Tran Dynasty kings were ranked as a special national monument; the Tran Temple Festival in Thai Binh was included in the list of national intangible cultural heritages. This year, the Tran Temple Festival continues to be held on a provincial scale from January 13 to 17.

This year's festival takes place in the context of the entire Party Committee, the government and the people of Thai Binh province striving, uniting, making the highest efforts, determined to complete the socio-economic development goals, striving for growth of 10.5% or more; implementing a streamlined, efficient, effective and efficient apparatus; Thai Binh is confident and aspires to break through and rise up with the new era of the nation. At the same time, 2025 is also the 800th anniversary of the Tran Dynasty's founding, the Tran Temple Festival continues to affirm and promote the value of the Tran Dynasty's cultural heritage in Thai Binh homeland, demonstrating the morality of "drinking water, remembering the source", remembering and showing gratitude for the great contributions of our ancestors in the cause of building and defending the country. Through the festival, a joyful and exciting atmosphere is created at the beginning of the new spring; encouraging and motivating cadres, party members, and people of all walks of life to strive to study, practice, work and produce, and successfully carry out the task of socio-economic development. The Tran Temple Festival contributes to propagating and educating patriotism, love for the homeland, national pride and self-respect for generations and the sense of responsibility of all people in participating in preserving, promoting and exploiting the value of traditional cultural heritage associated with attracting investment and socio-economic development; promoting the potential and strengths of tourism development of the province. At the same time, demonstrating show determination and aspiration to rise up to build Hung Ha district to develop rapidly and sustainably, becoming the growth pole in the Northwest of Thai Binh province, connecting with the growth triangle of Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh; promote cultural and traditional values to develop spiritual cultural tourism.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated Hung Ha district, all levels, sectors, the Vietnam Tran Family Business Association and businesses, entrepreneurs, and event organizers for accompanying the activities of the Tran Temple Festival in 2025. He believed that with the joint efforts of all levels, sectors, and all people, the Tran Temple Festival in 2025 would be a great success, continuing to become a highlight in the cultural life of the people of Thai Binh.
Art performances to celebrate the opening ceremony.
At the opening ceremony of the festival, there was a drum performance from “Thai Binh - The Everlasting Golden Age of the Tran Dynasty” with the participation of 175 drummers representing the 175 years of the Tran Dynasty. With the theme “Radiant Thai Binh - The Land of the Holy Mother - The Sacred Mark of Buddhism - The Origin of the Tran Dynasty”, the special art program had the participation of 400 professional actors and the masses, combined with famous singers to tell stories about the wise kings, sages, and holy mothers who founded the land. The highlight of the program was the performance of a song praising the merits of King Tran Nhan Tong; a contemporary folk song about the Holy Mother Tran Thi Dung…
After the special art program is the music and dance program "Thai Binh rises with the new era of the nation" including songs about the country, Thai Binh and spring, elaborately staged with sound and light effects and the voices of famous artists such as People's Artist Tu Long, Meritorious Artist Thanh Thanh Hien, singer Bui Thuy...
