Opening of the 20th session (special) – Provincial People's Council

BTO-This morning (January 26), at the Provincial Conference Center, the 20th session of the 11th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026, opened. Chairman of the Provincial People's Council (PPC) Nguyen Hoai Anh and Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Council chaired the session.

Attending the meeting were comrade Doan Anh Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, leaders of departments, branches, districts, towns, cities and 43/49 delegates of the 11th Provincial People's Council.

Speaking at the opening of the session, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Hoai Anh emphasized that in the urgent and exciting atmosphere of the first days of the new year, the 11th Provincial People's Council held the 20th session (special session) to discuss and decide on a number of important contents under its authority.

Accordingly, to ensure the progress of budget allocation to implement national target programs and promptly deploy socio-economic development tasks right from the beginning of the year, this session of the Provincial People's Council will review, comment and decide on 12 proposals and draft resolutions submitted by the Provincial People's Committee and carry out personnel work under the authority of the Provincial People's Council.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested the delegates to uphold their sense of responsibility, focus on studying each content in depth and carefully to decide on mechanisms and policies to ensure effectiveness, meeting the requirements and aspirations of voters and people in the province.

According to the program, the meeting will last for 1 day. Among the draft resolutions reviewed, commented on, and approved, there is a Resolution on the Capital Plan to implement the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development for Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas in 2024 in the province; Regulations on support levels for those assigned to directly assist educated people in communes, wards, and towns in the province.

The Provincial People's Council also considered and approved the Resolution on Suspending the investment policy of the Specialized Archives Project of Binh Thuan Province; Approving the investment policy of the Project to Upgrade and Expand Road 230A, Dong Ha Commune, Duc Linh District; Stipulating a number of contents and norms of State budget expenditure to implement activities to support the development of value chain-linked production and community production development under the National Target Programs for the period 2021-2025 in the province...
