On the morning of February 19, the 10th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026, held the 17th Special Session to review and decide on contents within its authority to promptly implement important policies and decisions of the Central and the province. Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Trung attended and directed the session.

Speaking at the opening of the session, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Huynh Thi Chien Hoa said that at this session, the Provincial People's Council will consider 24 draft Resolutions, including: First, a group of Resolutions related to organization, apparatus, and staffing; including Resolutions on the establishment, reorganization, and dissolution of specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee; adjusting resolutions of the Provincial People's Council on the establishment, number of members, and composition of the Provincial People's Council Committees; dismissal, election of Heads and Deputy Heads of the Provincial People's Council Committees; dismissal of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; dismissal, election of additional members of the Provincial People's Committee for the 10th term and a resolution on the staffing of civil servants and employees in 2025. Second, a group of Resolutions on socio-economic development, including a Resolution on adjusting growth targets in 2025 and the policy of converting forest use to other purposes.
Comrade Truong Cong Thai, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, presented the Proposal to elect additional members of the Provincial People's Committee for the 10th term, 2021 - 2026.
Delegates vote to elect the positions of Head and Deputy Head of the Culture and Social Committee, Dak Lak Provincial People's Council, term X, 2021 - 2026
Propose that the Provincial People's Council delegates promote the spirit of construction, responsibility and democracy; focus on carefully studying, discussing and contributing ideas and feasible and effective solutions so that the entire content of the meeting agenda is considered and approved with the highest quality and approval, meeting the expectations of voters and people of the province and the increasingly high requirements of political tasks, ready to enter a new era with the whole country.

Comrade Bach Van Manh - Director of the Department of Home Affairs presented the draft Resolution on the number of civil servants in administrative agencies, the number of contracts to perform professional and technical work in public service units and the number of special association staff in 2025.
In the morning working program, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Council also dismissed the Head and Deputy Head of the Ethnic Committee - Dak Lak Provincial People's Council, term X, 2021 - 2026; dismissed the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, member of the Provincial People's Committee. Elected additional Head and Deputy Head of the Cultural - Social Committee, Dak Lak Provincial People's Council; Elected additional members of the Provincial People's Committee, term X, 2021 - 2026; listened to the report on the review of the draft Resolution on the payroll of civil servants in administrative agencies, approved the total number of employees in public service units, the number of contracts to perform professional and technical work in public service units and the payroll of special associations, in 2025; reported on the draft Resolution on adjusting and supplementing a number of socio-economic development targets and tasks in 2025 with the growth target of 8% or more.
