Opening of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Spring Flower Festival 2025

On the evening of January 22 (December 23, the year of the Dragon), the People's Committee of Nha Trang City held the opening ceremony of the 12th Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Spring Flower Festival - 2025 and the award ceremony of the Nha Trang City Logo Design Contest. Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Tran Manh Dung - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Nha Trang City Party Committee; Mr. Dinh Van Thieu - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with leaders of a number of departments, branches, and Nha Trang City.

The 2025 Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Spring Flower Festival will be held in Yen Phi Park, Children's Park and part of the sidewalks and streets of Ngo Quyen, Pasteur and Phan Chu Trinh. This year, the Spring Flower Festival will display ornamental plants according to each theme; at the same time, arrange areas for sightseeing and experience of unique cultural activities such as: Making folk cakes; calligraphy; sketching; folk games; traditional arts; introducing some traditional handicrafts and promoting local products. In particular, the Spring Flower Festival will display more than 780 works, of which 268 will compete in 11 categories: General orchids; Cattleya orchids; bonsai with flowers; miniature bonsai; medium bonsai; large bonsai; miniature landscape - rockery; ornamental rocks; dry art plants; red-whiskered bulbuls and cacti; with the participation of many artisans in Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Ninh Thuan, Phu Yen and Binh Dinh provinces.

Nha Trang City leaders awarded the first prize of the Nha Trang City Logo Design Contest to author Bui Trung Chinh.

At the ceremony, the Nha Trang City People's Committee announced and awarded the Nha Trang City Logo Design Contest to 5 entries, of which the First Prize went to the entry by Bui Trung Chinh (41 Nha Nghia Street, Group 5, Phu Trung 2 Village, Vinh Thanh Commune, Nha Trang City); in addition, there were 1 Second Prize, 1 Third Prize and 2 Encouragement Prizes. The entry that won the First Prize was selected to be used as the logo of Nha Trang City. The contest was held from February 5 to July 31, 2024, attracting 238 entries from 107 entries nationwide.

The Spring Flower Festival takes place over 12 days, open to the public from 7am to 10pm daily, and closes on the evening of February 2 (January 5, At Ty year).
