Opening of the 2025 Kien Giang Province Student Swimming and Badminton Tournament

On February 16, at the Kien Giang Youth Activity Center, the swimming and badminton tournament for students of junior high and high schools in the province officially opened. The tournament attracted the participation of 8 schools with a total of 60 athletes.

The swimming competition will have the participation of 20 athletes from secondary schools, divided into two groups: grades 6-7 and 8-9. They will compete in the freestyle swimming event, with a distance of 66m for boys and 33m for girls.

This year’s badminton tournament had the participation of 40 athletes who were high school students. They competed in three categories: men’s doubles, mixed doubles, and women’s doubles.
