Leaders of Binh Lieu district pressed the button to officially launch the 2024 tourism season in Binh Lieu district.

(PLVN) - The Autumn-Winter Tourism Program with the theme "Binh Lieu - The Seasonal Festival" opened on the evening of October 25th at the 25/12 Square in Binh Lieu town, Binh Lieu district ( Quang Ninh ).

This is the 5th year that Binh Lieu district has organized this event, with the hope that Binh Lieu will become a highlight attracting tourists to experience the pristine and majestic beauty of the eastern part of Quang Ninh province, contributing to the district's goal of attracting 250,000 tourists in 2024.

Autumn-Winter tourism activities include nearly 20 festivals taking place from the end of October to December 2024. Among them, the Binh Lieu District Culture and Tourism Week 2024 promises to be an attractive destination for tourists from within and outside Quang Ninh province.

The spectacular artistic performances transport the audience back to the unique cultural values, cuisine, festivals, and sporting activities of the ethnic groups in Binh Lieu. At the same time, they spread the message about the history and culture of the land and people of Binh Lieu – a region in the Northeast of Vietnam.

Get ready for the Autumn-Winter tourism season in Binh Lieu district in 2024.

Visiting Binh Lieu, tourists have the opportunity to experience: the paradise of reeds, terraced rice fields, Cao Xiem mountain, the Dinosaur's Backbone, the So Flower Festival, the Luc Na Temple Festival, the market, the "golden season," the Tay people's New Rice Festival, paragliding "Flying over the golden season," enjoying characteristic agricultural products of the ethnic minorities, and OCOP products. There are also competitions, performances, cultural exchanges, sports activities, and folk games at the flower festival. Especially this year, for the first time, the Quang Ninh Ethnic Minority Women's Football Tournament 2024 - Netherlands Cup will be held.

Activities taking place during the Autumn-Winter tourist season in Binh Lieu district contribute to raising public awareness of preserving and promoting the natural landscapes, historical sites, terraced rice fields, and traditional culture of ethnic minority communities in the area, while also participating in economic development through tourism activities.
