Attending the forum, on the Vietnamese side, there were Mr. Bui Quang Huy, First Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Chairman of the National Committee on Vietnamese Youth; Mr. Do Hung Viet, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs...
On the side of the International Organization of the Francophonie, there were Mr. Edgar Doerig, representative of the Asia-Pacific region (OIF); Mr. Kaloyan Kolev, Program Manager, Asia-Pacific Regional Office and representatives of the Francophone University Organization.
Also attending the forum were representatives of embassies of several countries in Vietnam such as Canada, Morocco, Switzerland... Especially, there was the presence of 80 youth delegates from countries belonging to the Francophone Community, experts, coordinators and Vietnamese volunteers.
At the forum, youth delegates will have the opportunity to exchange, learn and share experiences about working and starting a business in the Francophone environment; better understand the challenges and opportunities in the region; propose new initiatives and ideas, contributing to building an increasingly strong and sustainable Francophone community.
Speaking at the forum, the First Secretary of the Central Youth Union emphasized that the theme of this year's forum is very suitable for young people in the context of the fourth industrial revolution, the sharing economy and the current Covid-19 pandemic, when innovation has become the main driving force and development strategy of countries.
In recent times, the Central Youth Union and Vietnamese youth organizations have implemented many useful programs and solutions to promote startups and innovative startups among young people.
As an active member of the Francophone Community, the Central Youth Union and the National Committee for Vietnamese Youth are committed to making continuous efforts, participating proactively, positively and responsibly, playing a core role in the Francophone movement in the Asia-Pacific region; at the same time, building sustainable and long-term cooperative relationships in the coming time.
The forum will last until September 14. Within the framework of the forum, there will be many discussions and workshops on topics related to employment, innovative startups for young people. Delegates will also participate in some experiences of Vietnamese cultural activities.
