The 10th Beijing Xiangshan Forum with the theme "Common Security, Maintaining Lasting Peace" was attended by many leaders of the Ministry of National Defense, the Army, experts, and scholars from many countries and international organizations.

Speaking at the opening session of the forum, Senior Lieutenant General Zhang Youxia, Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission of China, said that the international community must always make every effort to achieve sustainable peace and security when the world still has many hot spots of conflict and faces many traditional and non-traditional security challenges.
In 2022, Chinese President Xi Jinping announced the Global Security Initiative. Senior Lieutenant General Zhang Youxia emphasized that the 10th Beijing Xiangshan Forum, themed “Common Security, Maintaining Lasting Peace,” demonstrates China’s determination to work with all countries to realize the Initiative, aiming to ensure security for all countries in the context of the current rapidly changing and unpredictable world situation.

The Beijing Xiangshan Forum, along with other forums and dialogues such as the Moscow Conference on International Security in Russia and the Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore, have increasingly affirmed themselves as important security forums in the region and the world. Participation in these forums is an opportunity for Vietnam and other countries to strengthen cooperation and dialogue, build strategic trust to ensure regional and global security, and foster a peaceful environment for sustainable development.
