Thach Hai Sea Tourism Festival Opening - Expecting a vibrant summer

In just a few days, the opening ceremony of Thach Hai beach tourism will officially take place, opening the vibrant summer season in the locality. At this time, Thach Hai beach is more bustling, the celebratory work and preparations for the opening ceremony are gradually being completed, restaurant owners are busy renovating and upgrading their facilities to start the peak business season of the year...

With favorable weather, the construction unit accelerated the completion of the hot asphalt road on the beach in time for the opening.

Right on the road leading to the beach, the construction unit is racing against time to complete the road surface in the next few days. This is a project invested by the People's Committee of Ha Tinh city with a total capital of 5 billion VND from the city budget, commune budget and other legal capital sources to upgrade and improve the traffic infrastructure surrounding the beach.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hoan - technical officer of Ha Tinh Construction and Trade Industry Development Joint Stock Company said: "The company is responsible for the construction of hot asphalt concrete along the entire route. To ensure completion before the opening ceremony, we all try our best to contribute to the success of the opening program for the sea tourism season of Thach Hai this year".

Thach Hai has a 9km coastline and is one of the localities in the province with beautiful beaches. Currently, Thach Hai owns a beach about 5km long with 20 seafood restaurants along the beach. During the peak tourist season, the beach can welcome up to 600,000 visitors each month to swim and enjoy the cuisine. This year, along with the city's policy of upgrading infrastructure, restaurant owners are also taking advantage of the opportunity to renovate and invest in restaurant facilities to improve the quality of service to diners.





Restaurants also invest in upgrading facilities, investing in additional jacuzzis to be able to raise high-value seafood such as lobsters, "flashing" squid...

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Bien - owner of Hong Ngoc restaurant said: “My restaurant is located right in the center of the beach, adjacent to the coastal road. When the main road surrounding the beach was upgraded, I also took the opportunity to raise the ground, renovate the entire door line, repaint the walls, invest in more tables and chairs... to create a new look, attracting tourists. Along with the renovation to welcome the opening ceremony, the restaurant always proactively sources food, taking it daily to ensure freshness to serve customers."

According to the plan, the opening ceremony of Thach Hai beach tourism will take place on the afternoon of April 27 with many exciting activities such as: art programs, promotion, display of OCOP products of Thach Hai and localities in Ha Tinh city, fireworks... The opening event is expected to attract thousands of visitors during the holidays of April 30 - May 1 and start a vibrant tourist season. The entire opening ceremony plan is chaired by the City People's Committee, demonstrating the scale and method of the event, as well as the attention of the Party Committee and government to the spearhead economic sector.





Over the past few days, Thach Hai commune has mobilized forces to clean the environment, collect and treat waste, and prepare to welcome tourists.

Mr. Bui Dinh Lam - Chairman of Thach Hai Commune People's Committee said: "With the attention of the city leaders, preparations for the Thach Hai beach tourism season were started early, from the work of beautifying and upgrading the landscape of the beach area, the beach tourism season plan, checking the facilities of restaurants, eateries, etc. Up to now, the preparation work for the opening day has been basically completed, we are continuing to mobilize forces: youth union, women's union, veterans, militia, etc. to clean the environment, collect waste, renovate the green tree system, and highlight works to create a good impression for tourists. At the same time, organize inspections of safe business conditions at restaurants and business establishments; mobilize business owners to renovate their shops, change advertising signs according to standards to create uniformity and beauty for the beach".

As the opening day approaches, the weather becomes hotter and Thach Hai beach begins to welcome visitors. Thach Hai beach is not only considered clean and clear, but also attracts visitors with its wild beauty and fresh seafood...

According to the City Department of Culture, Science and Information, up to now, preparations for the opening ceremony of Thach Hai beach tourism are in the final stages. Along with the main programs of the ceremony, relevant departments and offices continue to coordinate with the locality to carry out tasks related to ensuring security and order, traffic flow, arranging rescue forces, checking food safety and hygiene, fire prevention at restaurants and business establishments... to ensure the opening ceremony takes place safely, economically, creating a joyful atmosphere, starting the new tourist season.

According to the plan, the opening ceremony of Thach Hai tourism will take place from 4pm to 8pm on April 27. Programs and activities include:

- The art program has 3 chapters, which are art performances praising the sea and sky of the homeland, the land and people of Ha Tinh and the belief and pride towards future development.

- Promote and display local products: Arrange booths to display OCOP products and specialties of Ha Tinh city; combine with beach restaurants to display and sell agricultural products, handicrafts, and products of traditional craft villages produced in Ha Tinh city.
