Bohee - a female tourist from Korea recently traveled to Vietnam, exploring many destinations such as Hanoi, Sa Pa (Lao Cai), Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa)...
Previously, Bohee had visited Da Nang 5 times because she was so fascinated by the local scenery and cuisine. Therefore, returning to Vietnam this time, the Korean female tourist and her boyfriend Jo wanted to spend time exploring many other attractive destinations.
Hanoi was the first place they stopped on their journey.
Bohee revealed that the two dishes she wants to try the most when she comes to the capital are pho and egg coffee. Of these, coffee is the drink she is "crazy" about, so much so that every time she comes to Vietnam, she drinks two cups a day.
“I really like the taste of Vietnamese coffee, so whenever I travel here, I look for good coffee shops to enjoy,” Bohee said.
The Korean female tourist said that egg coffee in Hanoi is very famous, so when she arrived here, she looked for a famous shop that specializes in serving this drink.
The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of an old house on Hang Bac Street, Hoan Kiem District. However, the way from the outside to the restaurant is quite difficult to find.
Bohee struggled for nearly 15 minutes to find the entrance, even though she was standing about ten meters away from the alley. She was stunned for a few seconds when she realized she had to squeeze through a narrow alley, only wide enough for one person, then climb many more stairs to get there.
“I was lost because I couldn’t find this cafe. It’s a hidden gem,” she said.
At the cafe, the couple ordered two iced milk coffees and one egg coffee. The Korean tourist said that when she researched the cafe, she learned that many foreigners visit the place.
After a short wait, Bohee and Jo were served the coffees they ordered. The young girl could not hide her excitement and immediately enjoyed her first egg coffee.
“Look, the egg coffee served in a bowl of hot water is quite impressive. It seems that the cocoa powder has been sprinkled on it, making the coffee taste even stronger,” Bohee commented.
The customer also praised the egg and coffee foam for being a thick, rich, and fragrant blend. However, she did not like the coconut biscuits dipped in coffee because they were a bit hard.
According to Bohee, the space of the shop is quite small, so it is a bit inconvenient. She can hear many languages and sounds coming from the people around her. However, the female tourist is still satisfied because she can enjoy the famous delicious egg coffee.
In addition to egg coffee, during their time exploring Hanoi, the couple also had the opportunity to enjoy other delicious dishes such as beef noodle soup, lemon tea, pan-grilled beef... or visit Hoan Kiem Lake, experience street portrait painting...
After a few days of fun, Bohee and her boyfriend left Hanoi, continued to Sa Pa and then to Nha Trang. She admitted that this trip to Vietnam was more fun, because she had many diverse experiences from the North to the South.
