Working with Luc Nam Forestry One Member Limited Liability Company, the unit's leaders reported that the Company was assigned by the State to manage and use more than 2,700 hectares of production forest, exploiting an average of 130 - 150 hectares each year, with an estimated output of 4 - 5 thousand m3. In recent times, the Company has made efforts to overcome difficulties, focusing on producing various types of forestry seedlings and managing revenue from forest planting contracts, so there is no longer a situation of unpaid wages and insurance debts for officers and employees.

However, the Company still faces many difficulties because the entire forest land area has not been granted a certificate of land use rights; the enterprise still owes the bank about 29 billion VND, while the amount of money that people owe the Company is about 34 billion VND but is difficult to recover. This greatly affects the production and business results of the unit.

Speaking here, comrade Phan The Tuan acknowledged the Company's efforts to overcome difficulties, initially operating in an orderly and profitable manner. The entire area assigned to the people for management has been effective, ensuring the regime for workers. He suggested that the Company's leaders need to be more proactive, actively innovate, and eliminate the subsidy mindset to help the enterprise overcome difficulties and develop.

Faced with difficulties and limitations, the Company needs to have a specific, drastic and more determined plan to overcome them. Regarding the forest land area assigned to the Suoi Mo Eco-tourism Management Board, he requested the Department of Agriculture and Environment and the People's Committee of Luc Nam District to coordinate with relevant agencies and units to advise on appropriate solutions and strict procedures to recover land from the people to hand over to the assigned management unit.
At the same time, there is a plan and roadmap to be granted a certificate of land use rights for the forest land area assigned for management. At the same time, the operating model is converted according to regulations to a two-member limited liability company. The Department of Agriculture and Environment supports the procedures so that the Company can soon be granted a certificate of forest land use rights.
In Son Dong district, comrade Phan The Tuan worked with the district People's Committee and the Tay Yen Tu Conservation Management Board. Reporting to the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the representative of Son Dong district's leadership said that the whole district has more than 66 thousand hectares of forest and forestry land, accounting for 76.98% of the total natural land area, with forest cover of 69.8%.
In the first quarter, the whole district produced and traded more than 4.3 million seedlings of all kinds; planted more than 1.8 thousand hectares of concentrated forests (reaching 35.4% of the plan) and more than 278 thousand scattered trees (reaching 23.2% of the plan). The locality has organized the setting of markers and organized the signing of protection commitments for households with production forests adjacent to natural forests. At the same time, forest patrols have been increased to promptly detect, prevent and strictly handle violations.
Several forest fires occurred in the district, but were detected and promptly handled by the forces, causing no damage to forest resources. At the same time, the authorities discovered and recorded two cases of illegal transportation of forest products.
The risk of forest fires in the coming time is still high. The cause is due to the impact of storm No. 3, which caused many branches, leaves, and trees to break and fall, creating flammable materials. Meanwhile, in the past few months, there has been no heavy rain in the area, the dry weather has created pressure on forest fire prevention and fighting.
Concluding here, comrade Phan The Tuan noted that although Son Dong is a locality with a large forest area, especially protective forests and natural forests, the situation of forest protection and management has achieved many positive results. People are aware of forest protection, the situation of disputes, encroachment, and clearing of forest land has decreased significantly; the forest economy has made a positive contribution to local development.
He suggested that in the coming time, Son Dong district and forest protection forces continue to promote the achieved results, overcome difficulties to do a good job of forest management, protection and development. Thereby, both conserving biodiversity and serving the purpose of promoting socio-economic development.
The functional forces need to coordinate with local authorities to focus on forest fire prevention and fighting, promptly detect and strictly handle violations. Pay attention to equipping means and equipment to serve the professional work of forest protection.
The Department of Agriculture and Environment will study and advise the province on the operational model of the forest protection force after reorganizing and rearranging administrative units. At the same time, review the personnel work to mobilize and supplement forces for forest management and protection.
