Image of damaged road surface reported by people
Recently, people have reported to the authorities about the damaged road surface at the intersection between Provincial Road 825, the West Canal Road and the entrance to Nam Thuan Duc Hoa Dong Industrial Park (the intersection where a traffic light system has just been installed) in the area of Duc Hoa Ha and Duc Hoa Dong communes.
According to local residents, this road is often used by trucks and containers transporting goods. At the same time, there are also quite a lot of people traveling back and forth every day. However, the road surface is damaged, with large potholes making it difficult for vehicles to travel and unsafe for traffic.
Thereby, people requested the authorities to inspect and fix the problem to ensure safety for people and vehicles participating in traffic.
Regarding this reflection, the Long An Department of Construction has grasped and directed the management unit of this road section to conduct an actual inspection. According to Deputy Director of the Department of Construction - Nguyen Thanh Ngoan, the damage at the above intersection is always directed by the Department of Construction to the road management unit to inspect, monitor and report to have a timely repair plan to ensure traffic safety on the above route.
Recently, the road management unit has fixed the problem of pouring crushed stone at the concave and convex points and deep holes.
After checking and finding that this road section was damaged and had potholes, on April 9, 2025, the Department of Construction directed the road management unit, Long An Transport Joint Stock Company, to repair and patch the intersection road surface with crushed stone, creating a smooth environment for vehicles to pass.
In the long term, the Department of Construction is balancing the annual regular maintenance budget to implement construction to upgrade and repair the damaged road surface area above," Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ngoan informed./.
