Mr. Ngo Minh Thien said: "This is the second time I have returned to the heroic land of Dien Bien, feeling the changes of my homeland Dien Bien. The trip for me was full of emotions, mixed with pride. Participating in the national mobile propaganda contest "Returning to Dien Bien" is an opportunity for me, as well as my colleagues, the children of Thanh Hoa homeland, to express our deep gratitude to the great contributions of the great President Ho Chi Minh, General Vo Nguyen Giap and the heroes and martyrs who sacrificed their blood and bones to regain independence and peace for the Fatherland and to help the majority of people better understand the historical significance of the great resistance war of the nation.
The Thanh Hoa Province Mobile Propaganda Team performed in Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho, Yen Bai, Lao Cai, Lai Chau provinces and the final stop was Dien Bien Phu City (Dien Bien Province). The content of the "Return to Dien Bien" performances performed by the Thanh Hoa Province Mobile Propaganda Team praised the patriotism, revolutionary heroism, the strength of national solidarity, the will to self-reliance, overcoming difficulties and challenges of our army and people under the leadership of the Party to create the legendary Dien Bien Phu victory. The mobile propaganda activities attracted a large number of people and tourists from each locality to participate. At the end of the journey, the Thanh Hoa Province Mobile Propaganda Team won 1 Gold Medal and 2 Silver Medals, of which the performance "Dien Bien Bicycle" (composed by People's Artist Hoang Hai, choreographed by Meritorious Artist Hoang Thanh Hai) won the Gold Medal; The performance "General Vo Nguyen Giap" (lyrics: Quang Vinh, music: Hoang Anh Tu) and the dance "Planting on a Moonlit Night" (music: Mai Huong, choreography: Meritorious Artist Hoang Thanh Hai, the female dance group of Thanh Hoa Cultural - Cinema Center performed and won the Silver Medal. To achieve the success of the mobile propaganda trip, the artists, actors, and staff of Thanh Hoa Cultural - Cinema Center (Thanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism) and non-professional actors of Nong Cong district diligently practiced and carefully prepared for the special journey "Returning to Dien Bien".
In recent times, Thanh Hoa Cultural - Cinema Center has organized many activities and participated in meaningful events inside and outside the province to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory. With the goal of promoting the significance, stature and great historical value of Dien Bien Phu Victory to the public, the Center has also organized mobile film screenings (from April 1 to April 30) with over 200 film screenings for people in the province, especially in mountainous and coastal districts. These film screenings not only help each person better understand the Dien Bien Phu campaign but also promote and educate historical traditions for the younger generation to continue to strive, contributing to protecting and building the Fatherland in the new era.
Remember, in early April 2024, in Thanh Hoa, the program "Meeting and paying tribute to Dien Bien soldiers, youth volunteers, and frontline workers who directly participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign" took place in the provinces of the Red River Delta and the North Central region, solemnly organized by the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in coordination with the Standing Committee of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee. At the meeting, the epic art program and the dramatization of the Dien Bien Phu campaign period combined with singing and dancing during the country's renovation period performed by artists and actors from Lam Son Song and Dance Theater and Thanh Hoa Traditional Arts Theater impressed and moved the delegates and participants of the program. The artists and actors recreated the image of Dien Bien soldiers pulling cannons into the battlefield; Heroic martyr To Vinh Dien using his body to block cannons; a song and dance performance celebrating the Dien Bien Phu victory; singing to celebrate the country's renovation and development. Artist Tong Nhu Dat, Thanh Hoa Traditional Arts Theater, is an artist and actor participating in the art program. He shared: "I am very honored, proud and moved to participate in the stage performance recreating the hardships and difficulties of our ancestors in the Dien Bien Phu campaign. By participating in the plays, as a young generation, we understand more about the revolutionary history and patriotic traditions of our homeland Thanh Hoa and the Vietnamese people in the resistance war to protect the Fatherland. As a young generation, being able to contribute a small part through performing arts activities, recreating history through plays is a source of pride for every artist and actor."
To carry out propaganda work to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thanh Hoa has developed a propaganda plan, guiding affiliated units and localities to organize commemorative activities. In particular, directing Lam Son Dance and Drama Theater, Traditional Arts Theater to create programs, plays, exhibitions of pictures, books and newspapers praising the Party, Uncle Ho and the Dien Bien Phu campaign to organize performances for the people; Thanh Hoa Culture - Cinema Center collects and edits propaganda documents to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory in the Grassroots Culture magazine for distribution to the grassroots. Integrating propaganda content in the stages and performances of mobile propaganda programs; mass art programs; Organize a Film Week to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory... Through commemorative propaganda activities to arouse and promote the tradition of patriotism, revolutionary heroism, and the will to fight and win of the Dien Bien Phu campaign in the cause of building and firmly defending the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam; honor and express deep gratitude to generations of Vietnamese people, including cadres, soldiers and people of Thanh Hoa who sacrificed their blood and made many contributions to the cause of national liberation and reunification; encourage and motivate cadres, party members and people of all walks of life to strive and make efforts to overcome difficulties, successfully complete goals and tasks, and contribute to building a more and more innovative and developed homeland.
