KFHI supports Quang Nam to build 3 new functional rooms at Phuoc Hoa commune school

The People's Committee of Quang Nam province has just issued Decision No. 53/QD-UBND dated January 10, 2025 approving the aid project to build 03 new functional rooms at Phuoc Hoa Primary and Secondary School in Village 2 (Phuoc Hoa commune, Phuoc Son district) sponsored by Korea Food For The Hungry International (KFHI).

The project to build 03 new functional rooms at Phuoc Hoa Primary and Secondary School in Village 2, Phuoc Hoa Commune, Phuoc Son District, Quang Nam Province will be implemented from January 2025 to December 2025 with a total non-refundable aid capital of 1.6 billion VND, equivalent to 66,340 USD.

The main objectives and results of the project are to ensure solidity, safety, and create favorable conditions for the school to improve the quality of teaching and learning. Thereby, contributing to helping Phuoc Hoa commune complete the school criteria in the national criteria for new rural construction.

It is known that in Phuoc Hoa commune, 95% of students are ethnic minority children, most of whom are from poor and near-poor households, with many difficulties and deprivations in their lives. The KFHI organization's sponsorship of the construction of 03 classrooms in Village 2 will create conditions for teachers and students to have more learning and development environments, contributing to the local government's successful implementation of the goal of socializing education.
