Conclusion of the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee on inspection, supervision and discipline enforcement in the Party

At the regular meeting in June 2024, the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee reviewed and concluded a number of contents on inspection, supervision and disciplinary enforcement work within the Party.

At the regular meeting in June 2024, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee reviewed and concluded a number of contents on inspection, supervision and disciplinary enforcement work within the Party, specifically as follows:

1. Consider and discipline comrade Tran Duc Loi - Member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quy Hop district and Head of the Management Board of Industrial Clusters of Quy Hop district:

After listening to the report of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee found that comrade Tran Duc Loi had degraded in political ideology, morality, and lifestyle; abused his position and power while performing official duties, causing damage to the state budget, and was prosecuted and temporarily detained by the Nghe An Provincial Police Investigation Agency; seriously violated Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks, in preventing and combating corruption and negativity; violated regulations on what party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example; caused very serious consequences, negatively affecting the reputation of the Party organization and local government.

Considering the content, nature, level, consequences and causes of the violation; based on Party regulations, the Provincial Party Standing Committee has decided to discipline comrade Tran Duc Loi by expelling him from the Party.

2. Consider and discipline comrade Nguyen Duc Lam - Member of the Party Executive Committee of the town, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghi Tan ward, Cua Lo town:

After listening to the report of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee found that comrade Nguyen Duc Lam had degraded in political ideology, morality, and lifestyle; had bribed to be allocated resettlement land in violation of the law, harmed the proper operation of state agencies, affected the reputation of the People's Committee of Cua Lo town, caused damage to state assets, was prosecuted and temporarily detained by the Investigation Police Agency of Nghe An Provincial Police; seriously violated the regulations of the Party and the laws of the State in performing assigned duties and tasks, in preventing and combating corruption and negativity; violated the regulations on what party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example; caused very serious consequences, negatively affecting the reputation of the party organization and local government.

Considering the content, nature, level, consequences and causes of the violation; based on Party regulations, the Provincial Party Standing Committee has decided to discipline comrade Nguyen Duc Lam by expelling him from the Party.

3. Also at this session, the Provincial Party Standing Committee reviewed and decided on a number of other contents on inspection, supervision and disciplinary enforcement within the Party under its authority.
