Although the number of people coming was very large, there were always functional forces on duty at many locations to ensure security and guide people to move and line up.

That was the feeling of many people, from veterans, the elderly, young people, students... when visiting the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024. People also expressed their joy when the Ministry of National Defense continued to open the door for people to visit for one more day, until December 23.

During the days of opening the exhibition to the public, tens of thousands of people not only from Hanoi but also from many localities, of all ages and backgrounds, came to visit.

From the Central Highlands, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tam, a veteran of the Central Highlands Army Corps, said that his group of veterans had gone to Hanoi since the opening day to wait for the exhibition to open to the public. The group consisted of veterans who had fought for many years in the Central Highlands Front, the oldest of whom was over 80, some of whom were wounded soldiers, were exposed to toxic chemicals, and were in poor health but still tried to go to the capital to attend the exhibition.

Having witnessed with his own eyes modern equipment and weapons manufactured and produced by Vietnamese companies such as UAVs, robots, ships and missiles..., Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tam is very confident that the Vietnamese Fatherland will be firmly protected by our Army.

From old to young, everyone was excited.

Mr. Vu Ngoc Lam, 75 years old, a veteran from Hai Phong city, is very excited about the remarkable growth and maturity of our Army.

Mr. Lam said that visiting the exhibition, he felt confident in the military strength and defense potential of Vietnam. Organizing exhibitions like this will create a very good environment to educate about love for the Fatherland, arousing patriotism and national pride in the young generation.

Mr. Lam also expressed his joy that the exhibition attracted a large number of young people to visit, showing that young people are increasingly interested in the fields of national defense, security and national protection. The exhibition has display areas introducing the 80-year tradition of the Vietnam People's Army, which is a very good condition for young people to learn more about the history of the nation's struggle in the most vivid and understandable way.
