On October 22, Kenya and Angola signed 11 memorandums of understanding to strengthen bilateral relations.
The agreements were signed in the Kenyan capital Nairobi in the presence of Kenyan President William Ruto and his Angolan counterpart Joao Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço.
The agreements aim to enhance cooperation in areas such as wildlife management and conservation, maritime cooperation, youth development and agriculture.
Speaking at a joint press conference in Nairobi, President W. Ruto said that the ministers responsible for transport of the two countries will speed up discussions to resume direct flights between Kenya and Angola.
In addition, Kenya will also immediately implement visa exemption for all Angolan citizens to promote trade and people-to-people travel between the two countries.
