National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue welcomed the two sides issuing a joint statement and signing many cooperation documents in the fields of diplomacy, trade, culture, justice, etc. This is a favorable legal framework to promote traditional friendly cooperation between the two countries in the coming time.
National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue hopes that President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who once served as Chairman of the Senate, will support the Vietnamese National Assembly and the Kazakh Parliament to inherit and promote the existing good cooperative relationship, towards signing a bilateral cooperation agreement between the two legislative bodies of the two countries.
On this occasion, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue invited the Chairman of the Senate and the Chairman of the House of Representatives of Kazakhstan to officially visit Vietnam and send a delegation of parliamentarians to attend the 9th Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians to be held in Hanoi next September.
The President of Kazakhstan further emphasized the desire of both sides to promote two-way cooperation in education and training to become more substantive, with more Vietnamese students and postgraduates coming to study and research in Kazakhstan and vice versa.
Realizing that the two sides have enough opportunities and foundations in economic and trade cooperation, the President of Kazakhstan said he will urge the Government to focus economic cooperation on Vietnam, diversify investment markets of enterprises to have an increasingly wider presence, more Vietnamese products and enterprises in Kazakhstan and vice versa.
