Highlights of England's easy win over Serbia

Jude Bellingham scored the only goal in England's opening match against Serbia in Group C on the evening of June 16, helping the Three Lions win 3 important points in the group stage on their journey to conquer the Euro 2024 title.

More importantly, the England midfielder is the first European player to feature in three major international tournaments before turning 21 (20 years, 353 days) having played at Euro 2020, the 2022 World Cup and now Euro 2024.

Bellingham even eclipsed Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo, who did so at the age of 23 years and 123 days.

The young star of the Three Lions has now won 30 caps for the national team and could surpass the 100-match mark in his career.

Former Tottenham midfielder Jamie O'Hara has hailed Jude Bellingham to the skies, saying: "For me, he is England's Zinedine Zidane.

"He's the closest anyone has seen since Zidane. As soon as I looked at him, his physique, the way he stands and the way he holds the ball, it's very similar to Zidane."

Bellingham has just had a great season with Real Madrid, winning La Liga, the Champions League and the Spanish Super Cup. If he wins Euro 2024 with England, the 19-year-old midfielder will be a strong candidate for the 2024 Ballon d'Or.

Bellingham had previously won the Golden Boy award, given to the best young player in Europe under the age of 21 and playing in the country's top flight.

In addition, Bellingham was also named La Liga Player of the Season and Champions League Young Player of the Season.
