Evidence from the global Super Hybrid Marathon challenge

The 1,500km figure is the actual result recorded from the global Super Hybrid Challenge series taking place in more than 10 countries and regions in Asia, Europe, Africa and the Americas. During the test in Mexico, the J7 PHEV (SHS) traveled 1,508 km on a single charge and full tank of fuel. This model continued to set a new record in the Philippines with an impressive travel distance of 1,488.8 km. All journeys took place in real conditions, through many different types of terrain and climate, affirming the outstanding stability, economy and flexibility of this model.

SHS – The heart of leading global technology

Behind that incredible distance is the Super Hybrid system (SHS) - a core technology researched and developed by OMODA & JAECOO. Thanks to the Super Hybrid system (SHS), the J7 PHEV (SHS) operates as a pure electric vehicle. The transmission system mostly uses the electric motor, the gasoline engine plays the role of charging the battery. The J7 PHEV (SHS) has the advantages of both gasoline and electric cars thanks to the optimization at low speeds using pure electricity and using the gasoline engine at high speeds to save fuel and increase performance.

Specifically, the J7 PHEV (SHS) is equipped with a 5th generation 1.5TGDI dedicated hybrid engine, achieving a thermal efficiency of up to 44.5% - among the highest in the industry. Combined with a dedicated transmission (DHT) and an intelligent energy management system, the vehicle is capable of flexibly switching between electric - gasoline - combined modes, helping to significantly reduce fuel consumption while maintaining a smooth, powerful driving feel.

Not stopping there, the high-capacity battery system allows the vehicle to operate in pure electric mode with a significant range in urban areas, contributing to minimizing gasoline consumption and CO₂ emissions into the environment.

With the world's leading SHS technology, the J7 SHS can travel up to 106km purely on electricity and achieve an impressive fuel consumption of only 0.52L/100km when fully charged (tested and certified by the Vietnam Register).

International safety standards – 5-star Euro NCAP certification

Not only strong in technology and performance, J7 PHEV (SHS) is also recognized for its outstanding safety level with a 5-star safety certification from Euro NCAP - Europe's leading prestigious safety assessment organization.

Specifically, the J7 PHEV (SHS) scored 81% for adult protection, 80% for child protection, 80% for pedestrian and vulnerable protection, and 80% for active safety assistance systems. This is proof that the J7 PHEV (SHS) not only optimizes operation but also puts safety at the core of every journey.
