On September 29, Israel announced that it had attacked dozens more Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, while the international community continued to warn of the risk of all-out conflict in the region.

AFP news agency quoted the Israeli military's statement as saying: "In air strikes based on intelligence, (the Israeli Air Force) attacked about 120 Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon and deep inside the country's territory."
The targets included infrastructure and “important headquarters used by various Hezbollah units,” the statement said.
Meanwhile, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant warned that Tel Aviv will attack enemies at any distance, after the country's military attacked Houthi movement targets in Yemen about 2,000 km from Israel.
“Our message is clear – for us, nowhere is too far,” said Yoav Gallant.
The move comes as Israel announced on September 27 that it had killed Hezbollah's powerful leader Hassan Nasrallah, a move that many fear could destabilize Lebanon and the entire region.
Faced with that situation, US President Joe Biden expressed that the Middle East region needs to do everything to avoid the conflict from spreading, stating that he will have a phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, but did not give a specific time.
On Iran's side, Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf on September 29 called on the legislatures and governments of Muslim countries to take a "deterrent" stance towards Israel to prevent future violations of international law.
In a phone call with his Lebanese counterpart Nabih Berri, Qalibaf expressed his condolences for Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, who was killed in an Israeli attack on the suburb of Dahieh in the capital Beirut on September 27.
The attack also claimed the life of Abbas Nilforoushan, a senior commander of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), according to the IRNA news agency.
Mr Qalibaf also highlighted the need for a coordinated response from Muslim countries, stressing: “We must create deterrence and pursue legal actions to ensure an end to Israel’s violations.”
