Iran has said it is ready to meet Bolivia's needs for defense equipment and advanced technology to help the country deal with threats.
On July 16, during a meeting with Bolivian Defense Minister Edmundo Novillo Aguilar in Tehran, Iranian Defense Minister Mohammad Reza Ashtiani said Iran is ready to meet Bolivia's needs for defense equipment and advanced technology to help the country deal with threats.
“We confirm that improving bilateral defense relations will lead to strengthening the deterrence power of the Bolivian government,” Ashtiani was quoted as saying by Iran 's official IRNA news agency.
According to Minister Ashtiani, Iran and Bolivia share a common enemy, the goal of which is to weaken and defeat independent nations.
For his part, the Bolivian Defense Minister stressed that nations striving to ensure freedom should unite together through different forms and ways.
Minister Novillo Aguilar expressed Bolivia's readiness to cooperate with Iran in the fields of anti-drug trafficking, security, defense and science./.
