(Dan Tri) - Apple has just announced its fourth quarter financial results with revenue and profit exceeding expectations. Specifically, the company's total revenue reached 94.93 billion USD, up 6% over the same period last year.
Of which, revenue from iPhone business reached 46.22 billion USD. Revenue from services and other products reached 9.04 billion USD. These are all record high numbers.
It can be seen that revenue from iPhone still accounts for nearly 49% of the company's total revenue. This is still Apple's most important business segment at the present time.

"iPhone 15 sales were better than iPhone 14 sales for the quarter, and iPhone 16 sales were better than iPhone 15. We're getting great feedback from customers and developers. Users are updating to iOS 18.1 at twice the rate of iOS 17.1," CEO Tim Cook told CNBC .
This quarter, Apple paid a one-time income tax charge of $10.2 billion to settle a lawsuit dating back to 2016 related to how the company handles taxes in Ireland.
iPad revenue rose 8% year-over-year to $6.95 billion, partly due to demand from a long wait for new products. Apple launched new iPad Pro and Air models in May after not releasing a new iPad until 2023.
Revenue from the Mac business was $7.74 billion, up 2% from the same period in 2023. Cook said MacBook Air sales improved thanks to a chip upgrade this spring.
Meanwhile, the services business, which includes iCloud, Google search revenue and AppleCare, grew 12% to nearly $25 billion. However, Apple's services revenue missed expectations.
Revenue from other products, which includes AirPods headphones, HomePod speakers and Apple Watch, was $9.04 billion, down 3% from the same period a year ago. Apple released new AirPods and Apple Watch models this quarter along with a new generation of iPhones.
