Recently, a series of rumors about an ultra-thin iPhone have surfaced. Reliable sources such as The Information, Bloomberg, and even analyst Ming-Chi Kuo all suggest that Apple is developing an ultra-thin, high-priced phone, expected to be called the iPhone 17 Slim.
However, Front Page Tech expert Jon Prosser, citing sources, says the new iPhone model will be called iPhone Air. He even stated he would shave his head if Apple came up with the name Slim.

Jon Prosser doesn't think Apple's ultra-thin product is expensive; he predicts the iPhone Air will be priced similarly to the Plus series.
According to leaks, the device has a rear camera and uses an A19 chip that is weaker than the A19 Pro in the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max. This product will also replace the iPhone 17 Plus.
Additionally, Apple has already used the "Air" suffix on its iPad and Mac products, so it's possible this will be similar for the iPhone.
Other features of the iPhone Air will be similar to the iPhone 17 in general. However, because it's thinner, Apple may look for new materials to ensure the device's durability.
