The iPhone 16 helped Apple's revenue skyrocket.

Apple Inc. is preparing to announce a surge in revenue, predicting its strongest quarterly growth in two years.

While demand for iPhones is showing signs of resurgence, particularly in China, upcoming financial reports will reveal initial sales figures for the newly launched iPhone 16 lineup and provide insights into Apple's outlook for the coming quarter.

The report is expected to address issues related to the progress of integrating Apple Intelligence features, which is considered essential to maintaining Apple's competitive advantage in leveraging artificial intelligence.

The focus of the announcement – expected tomorrow (Thursday) – will be guidance for the first fiscal quarter, a period in which Apple has previously seen high demand, but is now overshadowed by questions about the company's AI strategy.

The iPhone 16 lineup is projected to help Apple achieve its strongest quarterly growth in two years.

Unlike competitors such as Samsung or Microsoft, which have embraced AI-driven product innovations, Apple's approach is more carefully considered.

However, analysts predict Apple remains optimistic about the current cycle, especially with the iPhone 16 line and the emerging Apple Intelligence features.

In the United States, Apple recently launched a limited version of Apple Intelligence for English-speaking users. However, this rollout is not yet available in major international markets, including China and Europe.

The partial rollout, along with competition from Chinese brands such as Huawei, Vivo, Xiaomi, and Honor, has fueled assumptions that some consumers may postpone purchases until 2025, when the feature becomes more widespread.

Industry forecasts indicate Apple's iPhone sales will see a modest 3.8% increase in the fourth quarter, ending a two-quarter slump. Total revenue is expected to grow by approximately 5.7%, with China contributing significantly.

Analysts also noted that several iPhone models, including a variant of the iPhone 16 Plus, benefited from promotional discounts on platforms like Pinduoduo, potentially boosting Apple's market position. According to IDC data, this contributed to Apple securing the second-largest market share in China during the July-September period.

Further revenue growth is expected from other product lines, with iPad sales projected to increase 10.1% to $7.09 billion (approximately 180 trillion VND), driven by new models offering improved performance.

The services sector, including the App Store, is projected to grow by 13.3%, albeit at a slower pace than in previous quarters. This segment is facing new challenges, particularly in Europe, where regulators have accused Apple of violating antitrust regulations.

The investigation is further focused on Apple's exclusive contract with Alphabet, which makes Google the default search engine on iOS – a deal currently under investigation in the United States.

Additionally, Apple's financial report will reflect a $10 billion tax liability, equivalent to 250 trillion VND, related to a European Union court ruling against Apple in a tax dispute in Ireland.

With these factors in mind, Apple's quarterly growth results will provide insight into both the short term and the company's approach to sustaining growth in the competitive technology sector and its focus on AI.
