With a non-refundable capital of 300 million VND and implemented until the end of June 2025. Through the Project's activities, people in key areas will be informed about the Australian government's border protection policy, as well as understand the risks and consequences of illegal immigration and illegal migration.

People are also updated with basic knowledge and skills for safe and legal migration. Local officials are also enhanced in their capacity to communicate about safe and legal migration and prevention of illegal immigration and migration.

Established in 1951, with 175 member states, 8 observer states and offices in more than 100 countries, IOM strives to promote safe, humane and orderly migration for the benefit of all, through the provision of assistance and advice to governments and migrants.

IOM has been operating in Viet Nam since 1987. IOM provides comprehensive responses to the humanitarian needs of migrants, internally displaced persons, returning migrants and host communities through direct humanitarian assistance, community activities and other diverse efforts.
