Hyundai TC Motor Vietnam exports 110 Palisade cars to Thailand

Hyundai Palisade has been exported to the Thai market, marking the fourth batch of vehicles in October 2024 and bringing the total number of exported vehicles to 110. Hyundai Thanh Cong Motor Vietnam aims to export more than 4,000 Hyundai vehicles to ASEAN countries in the period of 2024-2025.

Hyundai Thanh Cong Vietnam Automobile Manufacturing Joint Stock Company (HTMV) has just marked a major turning point when it officially exported the Hyundai Palisade model to Thailand, opening the door to international integration for the Vietnamese automobile industry. The export ceremony was held on October 29, 2024 at Hyundai Thanh Cong Factory No. 1, Gian Khau Industrial Park, Ninh Binh, witnessing an important event in more than 15 years of strategic cooperation between Thanh Cong Group (TC Group) and Hyundai Motor.

This is the fourth batch of cars in October 2024, bringing the total number of Palisade cars exported to Thailand to 110. HTMV plans to export more than 4,000 Hyundai cars to ASEAN countries from 2024 to 2025, which is the company's strategy to expand the market to the region.

Hyundai Palisade - Hyundai's most premium SUV model, has been assembled and distributed in Vietnam since September 2023. With a RVC ratio (local content ratio) of over 40%, Palisade not only meets technical standards but also enjoys tariff incentives from the ASEAN Free Trade Agreement (AFTA). This creates a great advantage for Palisade in its journey to conquer international markets.

Hyundai Palisade is equipped with many outstanding utilities such as 12.3-inch touch screen supporting Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and 12-speaker Infinity sound system. Panoramic sunroof, suede ceiling and 6 or 7-seat configuration options.

In terms of operation, the 7-seat Hyundai model is equipped with a 2.2L diesel engine producing 200 horsepower and 440 Nm, combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission and 4-wheel drive, with 4 driving modes and 3 terrain modes (Snow, Sand, Mud). In addition, the appearance of the Hyundai SmartSense safety technology package is indispensable, featuring features such as: lane keeping assist, front collision avoidance, adaptive cruise control, distraction warning, active parking assist, blind spot monitoring and tire pressure warning.

In the Vietnamese market, Hyundai Palisade is distributed in 4 versions, including 6- and 7-seat variants, with prices ranging from 1.469 billion to 1.589 billion VND. Compared to competitors in the same segment such as Ford Explorer and Volkswagen Teramont, Palisade has a clear competitive advantage with a significantly lower price, from 500 to 700 million VND. This advantage comes from the fact that the model is assembled domestically, helping to minimize taxes and import costs, giving customers a high-end SUV option at a reasonable price.
