Hyundai Elantra 2025 from 480 million in the Philippines, waiting to come to Vietnam

At the Manila International Auto Show 2025 (MIAS 2025) in the Philippines, the newly launched Hyundai Elantra 2025 marked the remarkable return of the C-class sedan in the context of the increasingly popular SUV trend. This is considered a strategic move to maintain Hyundai's presence in the sedan segment.

The 2025 Hyundai Elantra sedan is developed based on the mid-life upgrade launched in 2023, but has been heavily tweaked in terms of design to aim for a more youthful, sporty image.

The front of the car stands out with slim LED headlights, connected to a stylized trapezoidal grille with interwoven bars, creating a sharp and modern feel. The rear of the car is also refreshed with LED taillights extending horizontally across the rear of the car, combined with a "ducktail"-style molded spoiler and a diffuser underneath.

The overall design creates a strong, sporty yet elegant image. In addition, the new Elantra is offered with many wheel size options from 15 to 18 inches, of which 18-inch sport-designed wheels are standard equipment for the high-performance N-Line variant.

Inside the cockpit, the 2025 Elantra features a cluster of two 10.25-inch screens, one for the digital clock and one for the central entertainment system. The car supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, wireless phone charging and automatic air conditioning. The front seats are thickly designed and fully upholstered in leather.

The interior space is completed with a minimalist but sophisticated style, aimed at modern young users and small families. In addition, the new Elantra 2025 is also equipped with the Hyundai SmartSense safety technology package.

The Hyundai SmartSense package includes features such as adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking and blind spot monitoring.

This system helps Hyundai's C-class sedan increase its competitiveness in the segment, where rivals such as Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla Altis have had many years of leadership in technology and brand.

The 2025 Hyundai Elantra in the Philippines has three engine options to suit different needs. The standard version is equipped with a 1.6L naturally aspirated gasoline engine, 128 horsepower and 155 Nm of torque, combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

The high-end Elantra N-Line version will be equipped with a 1.6L T-GDi turbocharged engine, producing 204 horsepower and 265 Nm of torque, with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, providing a sportier driving experience.

The third is the hybrid option using a 1.6L engine combined with an electric motor, producing a total capacity of 141 horsepower and 147 Nm of torque. This powertrain comes with a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission, helping to optimize fuel efficiency, targeting urban users and customers who value the "green" factor.

In the Philippine market, the price of the 2025 Hyundai Elantra is distributed in five versions, with prices ranging from 1.065 - 1.795 million pesos (equivalent to about 480 - 810 million VND). It is predicted that this C-size sedan model will soon arrive in Vietnam.
