In order to select and call citizens to join the army in 2025, the Military Command of Xuyen Moc district has proactively advised the District Military Service Council to direct communes and towns to focus on reviewing and grasping the readiness of young people to join the army; at the same time, implementing the steps of review, preliminary selection, and medical examination according to regulations, ensuring democracy, publicity, and fairness. Based on the assigned targets, the District Military Service Council has allocated targets, assigned specific tasks, close to the actual situation of the localities, and organized the implementation with the motto of recruiting people to ensure that they are qualified.

The District Military Command closely coordinated with agencies, departments, branches, and organizations to advise the District Military Service Council to successfully organize the military enlistment camp, creating a good impression on young people and their families. Thereby contributingto educating the traditions of the homeland and country, raising the sense of responsibility for the youth to fulfill their duty to protect the Fatherland; organizing the military handover ceremony to ensure quickness, neatness, and safety. As a result, Xuyen Moc district completed 100% of the military enlistment target at both levels, including 5 official party members joining the army, reaching a rate of 2.08%.

In the coming time, agencies and units will continue to promote the dissemination of the Law on Military Service, the tasks of local defense and military work; based on the actual situation, be ready to synchronously deploy stages and steps in the work of selecting and calling citizens to join the army in 2026, do a good job in the Army's rear policy work; pay attention to creating conditions for discharged soldiers to have jobs and stabilize their lives.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Xuyen Moc district commended 10 collectives, 18 individuals and 10 families with outstanding achievements in the work of selecting and calling citizens to join the army in 2025.
