Trieu Phong district held a meeting to celebrate the 99th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day

This afternoon, June 18, the leaders of Trieu Phong district held a meeting to celebrate the 99th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, June 21 (1925-2024) and to inform press agencies about the fine arts exhibition by painter Le Ba Dang with the theme "Aspiration for Peace" in 2024.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Trieu Phong District People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Vu congratulated the anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day and thanked the press agencies for closely coordinating with the district in the past time in carrying out the task of information and propaganda in all areas of social life as well as organizing social charity activities in the locality.

Up to now, Trieu Phong district has had 17/17 communes meeting new rural standards, including 3 advanced new rural communes, Ai Tu town is recognized as meeting civilized urban standards.

In the coming time, the leaders of Trieu Phong district hope to continue to receive the attention of press agencies in propagating and accompanying the Party Committee, government and people to successfully implement the goals of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security and Party building that the district has set out.

Vice Chairman of Trieu Phong District People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Vu informed about the fine arts exhibition of painter Le Ba Dang with the theme "Aspiration for Peace" as part of the program of the Quang Tri Province Peace Festival in 2024. To organize this exhibition event, the District People's Committee coordinated with the painter's family to organize an exhibition of fine arts works "Aspiration for Peace" by painter Le Ba Dang in Bich La Dong village, Trieu Thanh commune.

The fine arts exhibition of painter Le Ba Dang aims to spread and promote the artistic value of painter Le Ba Dang, honor the contributions of painter Le Ba Dang and his wife in the anti-war movements, supporting the resistance war for independence and national liberation in Vietnam. The exhibition will display 150 fine arts works including genres and creative stages in the artistic creative life of painter Le Ba Dang. The documents, images and art projects of painter Le Ba Dang aim to develop tourism, thereby creating jobs for people and developing the local socio-economic situation.

Artist Le Ba Dang's works are made from oil paintings, watercolors, sketches, lebadang graphic paintings, woven carpets, wooden statues, stainless steel statues, bronze statues, baked ceramics, and B52 aircraft wrecks.
