
The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province the responsibility to announce and award commendations according to regulations; and directed the People's Committee of Tay Son district to continue maintaining and improving the quality of the criteria, focusing on production and environmental criteria to ensure sustainability in building new rural areas.
* Tay Son District has 14/14 communes recognized as meeting new rural standards; 2/14 communes recognized as meeting advanced new rural standards; 1 town has been reviewed and assessed for meeting the criteria for a civilized urban area according to regulations, achieving 100%.
Furthermore, Tay Son district has basically met the criteria in the National Criteria Set for New Rural Districts. Essential technical and social infrastructure projects have been invested in and constructed in accordance with the approved district construction plan. The district's irrigation system meets the requirements for agricultural production in the area. The entire inter-communal electricity system is managed by the electricity sector, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and electrical safety standards according to the Electricity Criteria.
Currently, the district has 12 industrial clusters, with a total planned area of 472.31 hectares, serving local economic development. The district has established concentrated raw material areas for key products according to the Tay Son District Agricultural Production Development Plan for the period 2021-2025 and orientation to 2030; in which, in the field of crop cultivation, peanuts have been identified as one of the key products with high and stable economic value compared to other crops, contributing to increasing income for rural farmers.
