In Trach My Loc commune, 30 plots of land are located in Doc Tranh area, with an area of 96 - 148m2 and a starting auction price of 23.4 million VND/m2; Tho Loc commune has 9 plots located in Dong Phuong area, with an area of 134 m2/plot and a starting auction price of 19.8 million VND/m2.
According to the Land Fund Development Center of Phuc Tho District, auction participants must deposit 20% of the starting price of the land plot, equivalent to about 450 million to nearly 600 million VND per plot. There were more than 350 participants with nearly 700 valid registrations.
At the auction, participants write their bids in one go. Immediately after that, the auctioneer reviews the public bids on the spot to determine the winner based on the principle of highest bid for 1m2 of the land.
As a result, 39 plots of land were successfully auctioned. For plots in Dong Phuong area (Tho Loc commune), the highest winning price was over 26.4 million VND/m2. For plots in Doc Tranh area (Trach My Loc commune), the highest winning price was up to 60 million VND/m2, 2.6 times higher than the starting price.
Notably, participating in the land auction in Phuc Tho district on August 29, many customers won many lots and won at very high prices. For example, with lots DG03, DG04, DG05, DG07, the winning bid was all from 1 customer; lots DG08, DG09, DG14 also had winning bids belonging to 1 customer.
Comments on the sidelines of the auction showed that many people expressed that the winning price in Trach My Loc commune was higher than the average price of residential land in the surrounding area. Currently, the surrounding residential area is trading at 30 to 35 million VND/m2 for land on the street, while land in the alley is around 20 to 30 million VND.
