Luong Son district commends and rewards excellent teachers and students in the 2022 school year

(HBĐT) - On the morning of May 31, the People's Committee of Luong Son district held a ceremony to commend and reward outstanding managers, teachers and students of the 2022-2023 school year.

Leaders of Luong Son District People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to students who won prizes in provincial and national competitions.

In the 2022-2023 school year, the Departmentof Education and Training of Luong Son district has directed the innovation of educational management, synchronously implementing solutions to improve the quality of comprehensive education; innovate teaching methods, build a team to foster excellent students; increase investment in facilities and teaching equipment; overcome the situation of students dropping out of school, fostering weak students; detect and foster gifted students, excellent students (HSG)...

As a result, in the 2022-2023 school year, the district's preschool level has 36 teachers winning prizes in the district-level excellent teacher competition; 6 provincial-level excellent teachers. At the primary level, 81 students won prizes at the district level; 32 students won prizes at the provincial level. At the secondary level, 168 students won prizes in the district-level excellent teacher competition for grade 9; 193 students won prizes in the district-level excellent teacher competitions for grades 6, 7, and 8; 116 students won first, second, and third prizes at the provincial level in cultural subjects, physical education, and other competitions. Notably, 2 groups and 30 individuals won national prizes; 12 teachers won first, second, and third prizes for excellent teachers at the provincial level. For high school education, 91 students won provincial-level excellent teachers; 9 teachers won GVG and won prizes at provincial-level sports competitions.

At the ceremony, Luong Son district honored and awarded certificates of merit from the Chairman of the District People's Committee to 57 collectives, 25 managers and teachers who were excellent at teaching at the provincial level, 157 managers and teachers who had achieved excellent student training, winning first, second and third prizes at the provincial and national levels, and 314 students who won first, second and third prizes in provincial and national exams, competitions and competitions in the 2022-2023 school year, with a total prize value of over 437 million VND.
