Krong Bong District: Detected and handled 65 cases of forestry law violations in the first quarter of 2025

A case of deforestation to obtain land resources occurred in the forest area managed by Krong Bong Forestry One Member Co., Ltd.

According to a representative of the Krong Bong District Forest Protection Department, since the beginning of the year, coordination between inter-sectoral forces, local authorities and forest owners in inspecting, searching and preventing acts of encroachment on forest resources has been carried out regularly and continuously, promptly detecting and handling violations of the law.

However, the situation of forest law violations in the area is still complicated. The reason for this situation is that the lives of local people living near and near the forest are still facing many difficulties, most of them do not have stable jobs, their lives are still heavily dependent on the forest; illegal loggers are increasingly using many methods of deforestation and sophisticated tricks to oppose the authorities in the work of forest management and protection.
