Dur 1 village currently has more than 200 households, with more than 1,000 people, 5 ethnic groups living together, of which the Ede ethnic group is the majority. People mainly produce agriculture, life is still difficult, but people in the village are united, supporting each other in daily life and production. Thanks to that, the life of people in Dur 1 village is increasingly improved. In 2000, Dur 1 village had 124 poor and near-poor households, but now there are only 34 poor and near-poor households.

Similarly, wholeheartedly contributing to the development of her homeland, Ms. H'Phong Nie, a prestigious person in Kuop village, Dray Sap commune, pioneered in building and perfecting the infrastructure for community tourism development.

To do community tourism, Ms. H'Phong has restored the craft of brewing rice wine, repaired the traditional long house, and built typical tourism products ready to welcome and serve tourists. Ms. H'Phong shared: Buon Kuop was recognized as a Community Tourism Village in March 2024. On holidays and Tet, many households open services to welcome guests and cook for guests, so they also start to have an additional source of income.

Through research, it is known that Buon Kuop currently has 306 households, 1,922 people, of which 213 households, 1,153 people are Ede and Mnong ethnic minorities, accounting for 73% of the total population of the village. This place still preserves many long-standing traditional cultural beauties such as gongs, folk songs, xoang dance, ethnic musical instruments, unique culinary culture, many traditional festivals and brocade weaving and wine brewing. In the village, there are still 50 traditional long houses of ethnic minorities, which can be used as homestays to serve tourists.

With the advantages of traditional cultural values ​​and attractive natural landscapes, in the near future, community tourism in Kuop village promises to have many developments.

In particular, implementing Content No. 1 on "Recognizing and honoring advanced models, promoting the role of Prestigious People" under Sub-project 1, Project 10 of the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the period 2021-2030, Krong Ana district effectively uses the State budget to visit, provide material support, and encourage the Prestigious People and organize for Prestigious People to visit, study, and exchange experiences inside and outside the province.
