Go Cong Tay District: Inauguration of Nam Vui Bridge in Thanh Nhut Commune

People are happy to have a new and spacious bridge.

After more than 2 months of construction, the Nam Vui Bridge has now been completed and put into use. The new Nam Vui Bridge has a total length of 20 m, a width of 3.5 m, and a total construction cost of 176.9 million VND, sponsored by Ms. Nguyen Thi Phung (Ho Chi Minh City). The newly built bridge is spacious, solid and spacious, replacing the old, narrow and degraded bridge.

At the inauguration ceremony, the Party Committee and People's Committee of Thanh Nhut commune announced and awarded the Decision of Commendation of the Chairman of Tien Giang Provincial People's Committee to Ms. Nguyen Thi Phung, the bridge construction sponsor who actively participated in contributing to the construction of public welfare works to serve the traffic needs of the people.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Thanh Nhut commune also commended and rewarded 6 individuals who had made positive contributions in the process of participating in the construction of Nam Vui bridge to quickly complete it, ensuring safety, quality, and on time.

The construction and putting into use of Nam Vui bridge has contributed to facilitating local people's smooth traffic along the canal of Tan Thanh and Binh Trung hamlets.

It is known that this is also a project to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the 46th anniversary of the re-establishment of Go Cong Tay district (April 30, 1979 - April 30, 2025) of the Standing Committee of Go Cong Tay District Youth Union.

Accordingly, the District Youth Union has mobilized members and youth of 13 Youth Union bases to participate in supporting working days to transport construction materials to quickly complete the final stages to soon complete the bridge and put it into use, creating convenient traffic for local people.
