Go Cong Dong District: Handing over 4 houses under the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses

4 houses under the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses were handed over to 2 policy households and 2 near-poor households in the locality. Specifically, the houses were repaired for Mrs. Bui Thi A (wife of a martyr) and Mr. Nguyen Van Dau (2/4 disabled soldier), and new houses were built for Mrs. Doan Thi Phung and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Chuyen (near-poor households).

The Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Go Cong Dong District and Tan Phuoc Commune organized a ceremony to hand over houses to households under the Program for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses.

The houses have an area of ​​72 ^m2 to 84 ^m2 and are built with a 3-hard structure: corrugated iron roof, walls, and concrete floor. Each house is supported by the State with 40 to 60 million VND, the rest is contributed by the families.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, comrade Ngo Huynh Quang Thai, Secretary of Go Cong Dong District Party Committee, congratulated the families with new houses; hoping that when they have stable housing, they will try to increase production, develop family economy, and renovate their houses to make them more spacious.

At the same time, it is recommended that localities in the district continue to assign members of the Steering Committee and organizations to increase support to help people during the construction process; pay attention to inspecting, supervising and urging contractors to speed up construction and repair progress, ensuring quality; strive to complete this program before April 30, 2025.

On this occasion, leaders of Go Cong Dong district and Tan Phuoc commune presented essential gifts to help families stabilize their lives soon.
