With the drastic and consistent participation in the direction and management of Party committees and authorities at all levels, the economic sector of Dam Ha district in 2024 continues to develop well, shifting its structure in the right direction. The production value in the three fields of the locality reached over 9,800 billion VND, an increase of 17.72% compared to 2023. Of which, agricultural, forestry and fishery production reached over 3,600 billion VND, an increase of 14.08% compared to 2023; industrial production, small-scale industry, and basic construction reached nearly 3,000 billion VND, an increase of 17.23% compared to 2023; Commercial and service production reached nearly 3,200 billion VND, an increase of 12.69% compared to 2023. During the year, the number of visitors to the district reached 52,800, reaching 114.8% of the yearly plan.
In the economic picture of Dam Ha district, there are also bright spots in the improved investment and business environment, foreign affairs activities, investment promotion, and business support that have been actively implemented and made an impression. In the past year, the district successfully organized the Investment Promotion Conference in the industrial cluster east of Dam Ha B with the participation of more than 200 enterprises, investors, and economic organizations, including more than 50 FDI enterprises from China, Korea, and Japan. Planning, land, site clearance, natural resources and environment work continued to be strengthened; political security, social order and safety were ensured. Promoting internal resources and successfully implementing the tasks set out in the past year have created a solid foundation, opening up many development opportunities for the locality. In 2025, Dam Ha district chose the working theme as "Focusing on implementing planning; making a breakthrough in economic development, creating momentum for the new term". Regarding the socio-economic growth target, the district determined the focus is to continue exploiting the potential and advantages of the district to develop high-tech agriculture and organic agriculture according to the value chain; mobilizing all resources for sustainable development. At the same time, continuing administrative reform, supporting businesses, attracting investment; maintaining and improving the quality of indicators and criteria and keeping the district meeting the advanced NTM standards. Regarding the implementation of planning, the district is closely following the adjustment of the Construction Planning of Dam Ha district to 2040, with a vision to 2050 approved by the Provincial People's Committee (Decision No. 816/QD-UBND, dated March 29, 2023). Especially in terms of managing the urban development of Dam Ha town and developing the centers of communes in the district; building a suitable roadmap to expand the town boundary, upgrade the urban area, and upgrade the quality of infrastructure in neighboring areas.
According to actual conditions, the district will have a plan to organize the public announcement of the planning in many different forms, creating high consensus and unanimity in implementation.
