Remembering the heroes and martyrs
At the ceremony to visit the district's martyrs' cemetery, in a solemn atmosphere, delegates respectfully offered wreaths and incense before the monument of the Fatherland's gratitude and observed a moment of silence to commemorate the great contributions of the heroic martyrs who fought bravely, sacrificed, and protected the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, creating a brilliant milestone in the heroic revolutionary history of the nation. Continuing the patriotic spirit of previous generations, the Party Committee, government, army and people of Chau Phu district vow to unite as one, making every effort to preserve, build, and develop the homeland.
Presenting symbolic plaques to hand over houses under the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses to families with meritorious services to the revolution.
On this occasion, Chau Phu District People's Committee organized a meeting to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day. Over 100 delegates, including people with meritorious services to the revolution, war invalids, relatives of martyrs, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and former leaders of Chau Phu District through the periods, attended.
