Bau Bang District: More than 250 candidates participate in the 2025 Book Promotion and Introduction Contest

The Bau Bang District Culture, Sports and Broadcasting Center has just coordinated with the Department of Education and Training, the Women's Union, the District Youth Union, and the District Labor Federation to organize a book promotion and introduction contest in 2025.

With the theme “50 years of the country blooming”, this year’s contest attracted more than 250 contestants from 16 teams from agencies, organizations and schools in the district. Each team competed in 2 main parts: Introducing the team and promoting and introducing books.

The teams promoted and introduced to everyone books and documents about history, about the country in 50 years of building and defending the Fatherland, about the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign, the Great Victory of Spring 1975... At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded one first prize to Bau Bang Primary School, one second prize, two third prizes, 12 consolation prizes and movement prizes.

This is a practical activity in response to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day (April 21), World Book and Copyright Day (April 23) this year; to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday. Through the contest, it contributes to promoting the building and development of reading culture, making reading a habit and cultural beauty in the community; an opportunity for readers to review the tradition of patriotism and national pride.
