Mobilizing and effectively using investment resources

Secretary of Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee Bui Thi Quynh Van requested all levels to urgently concretize and organize the implementation of socio-economic development tasks in 2025 with a drastic and effective spirit.

Urgently carry out the 2025 tasks from the beginning of the year

Quang Ngai province identified 2025 as a pivotal year and the finishing year of the 2020-2025 term, therefore the province directed local levels and sectors to seriously carry out assigned tasks with the highest spirit and determination to complete the plan and tasks of the entire term.

Quang Ngai Provincial People's Council closed its session by issuing many important resolutions, including assigning a public investment capital plan for 2025 of more than 4,000 billion VND.

At the ongoing 13th Provincial People's Council meeting, delegates agreed on the Resolution on allocating the 2025 public investment plan (local budget capital) of nearly VND 4,051 billion.

Of which, the capital for basic construction is concentrated at nearly 2,384 billion VND, including: Decentralized capital allocation for localities is over 468 billion VND; allocation for programs, tasks, and projects of the province is 1,518 billion VND); capital from lottery revenue is 125 billion VND.

Resolutions on assigning the 2025 public investment plan to implement the National Target Program (NTP) on new rural construction and a number of other programs and projects; the NTP on sustainable poverty reduction; the NTP on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas of Quang Ngai province for the period 2021 - 2030...

According to Chairman of the Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoang Giang, in addition to opportunities and advantages, Quang Ngai province continues to face certain difficulties and challenges. That is, the Central Government assigned the province a revenue estimate of VND 31,950 billion in 2025, an increase of 25.7% compared to the estimate assigned in 2024, which is a target to strive for but is under great pressure, while the oil price on the world market is decreasing compared to the oil price estimate assigned by the Central Government (80 USD/barrel).

Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province Nguyen Hoang Giang said the province will focus highly on completing its tasks in 2025.

“The tasks set for 2025 are extremely heavy, simultaneously implementing two socio-economic development tasks for 2025 and the 5-year plan for 2021-2025. Therefore, Quang Ngai province will continue to make efforts, put the highest determination, and be resolute in action; promote the spirit of self-reliance and self-improvement; strongly innovate strategic thinking and breakthrough vision on the basis of inheriting the achievements and overcoming difficulties and limitations to complete the set goals and targets,” Mr. Giang emphasized.

To ensure the completion of targets and tasks for 2025, the head of the Quang Ngai provincial government said that the province is urgently completing the arrangement and streamlining of the organizational apparatus of departments, branches, sectors, units under the Provincial People's Committee and districts, towns, and cities; effectively implementing the Project on rearranging commune-level administrative units for the period 2023-2025.

Issue a key work program for 2025 in a timely manner, with focus, key points, in line with reality and within authority; strictly handle heads of agencies and units. Focus on reviewing and developing a 5-year financial plan for 2026-2030; direct and manage state budget collection. In particular, develop effective solutions to accelerate the progress of land use fee collection in 2025.

Focus on taking care of Tet for the people

Speaking at the closing session, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the People's Council of Quang Ngai province Bui Thi Quynh Van emphasized: 2025 is the sprint year to complete the goals and targets according to the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress and the 5-year socio-economic development plan 2021 - 2025.

Based on the analysis and forecast of advantages, difficulties and challenges in 2025, the Provincial People's Council requested the Provincial People's Committee, departments, branches and localities to resolutely and steadfastly implement 25 key targets and groups of tasks and solutions to lead comprehensive development in the fields of socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security.

Secretary of Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee Bui Thi Quynh Van requested all levels and sectors to be flexible and creative in implementing solutions suitable to the new situation, successfully completing the tasks in 2025.

"The Provincial People's Committee shall promptly direct, concretize, and organize the implementation of the Resolution of the Provincial People's Council on the socio-economic development plan for 2025 right from the first days and months of 2025 with a more drastic and effective spirit, associated with the ability to balance, mobilize and effectively use resources, creating a strong change in socio-economic development in the province.

The Provincial People's Council requests the Provincial People's Committee, all levels, all sectors, especially the leaders in charge of fields, sectors, localities, agencies and units to focus on leadership, direction, management, operation, synchronous, comprehensive, timely, flexible and creative implementation of solutions suitable to the new situation," Ms. Van directed.

At the closing session of the meeting, Secretary of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee Bui Thi Quynh Van said that the year 2025 and the Lunar New Year of At Ty are approaching very soon. With the motto "everyone, every family can enjoy Spring and celebrate Tet" and "no one is left behind".

The Provincial People's Council requested all levels and sectors to focus on preparing plans carefully so that people can enjoy a warm, peaceful and happy Spring Festival; pay special attention to and take care of families with meritorious services to the revolution, people in difficult circumstances; poor households, remote areas, ethnic minority areas, mountainous areas, workers and laborers working in industrial parks and clusters...

Promote propaganda about the achievements of the country and the province in the past year to create an atmosphere of excitement, trust, joy, blending people's hearts with the Party's will, multiplying pride and aspirations for prosperous development and happiness.
