On the afternoon of April 4, the Steering Committee of the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Chanh Lo Ward (Quang Ngai City) held a handover ceremony for the completion of repairing and building new houses for 4 poor and near-poor households in the ward.

The Steering Committee of the Program to Eliminate Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Chanh Lo Ward (Quang Ngai City) held a ceremony to hand over a house worth 130 million VND to Ms. Dinh Thi Xuong, in Residential Group 3, Chanh Lo Ward.

Sharing at the house handover ceremony, Mrs. Dinh Thi Xuong, in residential group 3, Chanh Lo ward, said with emotion, my family has had the house of our dreams, with a construction cost of 130 million VND, and the workers were supported by the ward. With a new house, I not only have a place to live, but also a career. As a nail technician, but because I do not have a solid house, even though I am disabled in my legs and have difficulty walking, I still travel everywhere to make a living as a nail technician. Now, with a spacious and solid house, I have the opportunity to open a shop at home.

In addition to the 4 houses that have just been handed over and put into use, Chanh Lo ward has supported 2 poor and near-poor households in the area to repair their houses and put them into use before the Lunar New Year of At Ty in 2025, with a total cost of 85 million VND.

Chairman of the People's Committee of Chanh Lo Ward, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Chanh Lo Ward, Hoang Ngo Khanh Phuc, said that the steering committee is determined to implement the Program for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in the ward with the spirit of self-reliance and initiative. To proactively support funding for eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, the ward has mobilized nearly 400 million VND from cadres, party members, people, organizations and businesses. For single-parent and disabled households, the steering committee has a plan to support people in the form of "turnkey", taking care of the households from construction costs to house construction workers. With all love and responsibility, up to now, the ward has completed the repair and construction of 6/7 houses under the Program for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in 2025 in the area, with a total cost of 385 million VND. The ward is continuing to mobilize funding to support the remaining households to repair their houses.
