- On April 2 and 3, the Department of Education and Training of Huu Lung district organized a robot programming competition and exchange and display STEM products for secondary schools in the 2024-2025 school year.

The competition was attended by 224 students from 28 secondary schools in the district. The competition consisted of 4 parts: STEM product display and introduction; Seed sowing robot competition; Automatic seed sowing robot competition; Drone manufacturing and control competition.

In the STEM product display and introduction competition, teams from 28 schools brought 14 booths to display STEM products, which are products created by students applying the knowledge they learned about science, technology, engineering, mathematics, etc., ensuring diversity and quality, reflecting the process of implementing STEM education in schools; in the seed-planting robot competition (for secondary school students), the competition content had 34 teams participating, the automatic content had 32 teams participating: teams designed, programmed, controlled robots to pick up seeds and sow peanuts in the seeding boxes on the competition field; in the drone manufacturing and control competition (for primary school students), there were 12 teams participating, each team had 60 minutes. To build a complete drone, after finishing the construction, the teams test the drone, send pilots and compete.

At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded first, second, third and consolation prizes in each category to the competing teams.

The competition is an opportunity for schools to exchange and share experiences in teaching STEM and using educational robots in teaching. At the same time, it helps students who love science and technology to exchange, learn from experiences, compete creatively to improve their knowledge and practical skills in learning and scientific research, and apply advanced technology to create models and products useful for life.
