Representative of the Department of Innovation - Department of Science and Technology informed some contents at the training session

The training course focuses on guiding the preparation and digital signature of application files for granting and renewing licenses for conducting radiation work in medicine. Thereby, it aims to provide specific support in completing the files according to the prescribed forms, applying digital signatures when preparing the files. The return of results is done online or via public postal services.

Two digital signature providers, Viettel Hue and VNPT Hue, will provide digital signatures to radiation units with the aim of creating the most favorable conditions for individuals and units to immediately apply the entire online public service to save time and effort.

Organizations and businesses conducting radiation work will apply immediately when preparing documents during the implementation process and will receive support from the Department of Science and Technology when encountering difficulties or problems.

Speaking at the training course, Director of the Department of Science and Technology Nguyen Xuan Son emphasized that nuclear energy is increasingly widely and effectively applied in social life, especially in the medical field. Therefore, the State management of radiation safety as well as the licensing of radiation work in medical X-rays is always focused on.

Previously, the Department of Science and Technology provided level 4 public services with 100% of administrative procedures and the Department received 100% of the records for level 4 public services related to the field of atomic energy. Licensing the use of X-ray equipment in medical diagnosis is one of the tasks to implement the policy of the Government and the city on promoting administrative reform and digital transformation, to ensure the effective provision of online public services throughout all fields at the Department of Science and Technology.

Currently, the Department of Science and Technology has provided full-service online public administration in the field of atomic energy for nearly 60 radiation units in the city for procedures of declaration, issuance, extension, amendment, supplementation, re-issuance of Licenses for using X-ray equipment and issuance of Radiation worker certificates for persons in charge of safety for the use of medical diagnostic X-ray equipment in the city.
