The conference was attended by Mr. Nguyen Huu Nghia, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee.
At the conference, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board - Pham Van Khue announced Decision No. 1507-QD/TU dated March 31 on merging Hung Yen Radio and Television Station into Hung Yen Newspaper. The decision takes effect from April 1, 2025.
After the merger, Hung Yen Newspaper will have 8 affiliated departments, 5 fewer than before. The departments include: Organization - Administration Department, Finance - Advertising Department, Politics - Economy - Society Department, Secretariat - Editorial Department, Electronic Newspaper Department, Special Topics - Arts Department, Technical - Technology Department and Radio Department.

Also at the conference, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee announced decisions on personnel work. Accordingly, Mr. Le Cong Tuan, Editor-in-Chief of Hung Yen Newspaper, was appointed to the position of Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department for a term of 5 years from April 1, 2025. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hoai, Director of Hung Yen Radio and Television Station, was appointed Editor-in-Chief of Hung Yen Newspaper. In addition, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee also decided to appoint four Deputy Editors-in-Chief of Hung Yen Newspaper: Nguyen Ngoc Luyen, Pham Van Xuong, Dinh Duc Khoa and Bui Hai Dang.
Speaking at the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Huu Nghia emphasized that the merger is an important step to implement the Party's policy of streamlining the apparatus and improving the efficiency of multimedia communication activities. He requested the Editorial Board of Hung Yen Newspaper to soon complete the organization and arrange staff to ensure stable and effective operations. At the same time, the handover of documents, finances and facilities must be carried out in accordance with regulations to avoid waste.
The merger of Radio and Television into Hung Yen Newspaper is expected to contribute to maximizing resources, improving information quality, and meeting propaganda requirements in the new situation.
