CP Vietnam successfully organized the "Supplier Potential Development Conference 2024"

On December 12, CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company (CP Vietnam) organized the “Supplier Potential Development Conference 2024” with the theme “Innovation for the Environment: The Role of Supply Chain Partners”. This is an annual activity of the company aimed at enhancing the competitiveness and developing sustainable supply sources of CP Vietnam.

The program was attended by Ms. Dang Thi Thuy Duong - Deputy Head of Environment Department of Dong Nai Province Department of Natural Resources and Environment, CP Vietnam's leadership and more than 80 suppliers - extremely important partners of CP Vietnam in recent times.

Representative of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Dong Nai province presented the paper "Regulations on environmental protection for production and business activities" at the conference.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Chamnam Wangakkarangkul - Deputy General Director and Chairman of the Sustainable Development Council said: "CP Vietnam always emphasizes the application of technology in production to improve product quality and service quality to ensure customer satisfaction. We recognize that "Supplier" is considered a very important link in the supply chain to create success. Therefore, we believe that long-term and sustainable success must be based on the foundation of social and environmental responsibility throughout the cooperation process between CP and suppliers."

Mr. C hamnam Wangakkarangkul - Deputy CEO and Chairman of CP Vietnam Sustainable Development Council spoke at the conference.

In addition to the presentations on “Implementing Sustainable Development, Orientation for Building a Green Supply Chain” by the Sustainable Development Department and “Sustainable Environmental Goals of CP Vietnam Group and Typical Environmental Solutions from Business Sectors” from the Department of Health, Environment and Energy, the conference also listened to useful and practical sharing from Ms. Dang Thi Thuy Duong - Deputy Head of the Environment Department of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Dong Nai province, contributing to helping CP Vietnam's partners better understand the state's policies as well as find more specific environmental protection methods in production and business.

Representatives of CP Vietnam leaders awarded certificates honoring Top 10 suppliers according to the company's "Sustainable Supply Policy" in 2024.

The “Supplier Potential Development Conference 2024” was successfully held. This is considered a valuable opportunity to strengthen the long-term relationship between CP Vietnam and suppliers, while supporting the expansion of suppliers’ own business opportunities with other leading partner organizations in the context where the importance of socially and environmentally responsible business activities is currently emphasized.
