(GLO) - According to a quick report from the Gia Lai Provincial Department of Education and Training (the permanent agency of the Provincial Steering Committee for the 2023 High School Graduation Examination), on the afternoon of June 29, 38 candidates across the province were absent from the Foreign Language exam.
This is also the final subject in the 2023 high school graduation exam.

All 38 absent candidates were concentrated in the English exam. 13,807 out of 13,845 candidates took the English exam. For the remaining foreign language subjects, the number of candidates participating was high, including 17 for Chinese, 2 for Japanese, and 3 for Korean. Among the 38 absent candidates, 10 were from ethnic minority groups.
According to the report, on the afternoon of June 29th, all officials, teachers, and staff at the 41 examination centers were present to carry out the examination. The examination proceeded normally, the invigilation was implemented in accordance with regulations, and there were no violations of the examination regulations by invigilators or candidates.
