This is the first highlight announced by the HOZO 2024 organizing committee on October 15 in Ho Chi Minh City. In the near future, there will be more international and Vietnamese artists coming to this international community music event.
The world beats together
Musician Huy Tuan, general director of this music festival, said: "HOZO 2024 has the message The world beats together.
International and Vietnamese artists as well as audiences coming to HOZO stage share the same common language: music.
Together, we convey the message that Ho Chi Minh City has a world-class music festival. After three HOZO events, this event has become widely known to international friends, promising that in the future there will be many larger international music collaborations here."

Ms. Thanh Thuy, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City, shared looking back on a HOZO journey with so many emotions:
"Our organizing committee has experienced many difficulties. There were times when we thought that the festival might have to be postponed for a while so that the organizers could reflect, research, and wait for a new opportunity to continue."
Ms. Thuy emphasized: "Saying this shows that organizing an international music festival, with community values as well as being associated with the development of Ho Chi Minh City is very difficult, requiring a certain amount of perseverance.
In 2025, Ho Chi Minh City prepares a cultural development strategy, including the HOZO international music festival associated with the cultural industry.
In the strategy and plan for implementing Ho Chi Minh City's cultural industry until 2035, the performing arts industry is identified as a spearhead.

What does HOZO 2024 have?
HOZO 2024 will have a Ho Do Inspiration contest for young artists with the message of Youth Energy Explosion. The 20 best contestants will gather in the semi-finals at the Youth Cultural House on October 25 and 26 to select five golden tickets to the finals.
The final night of Ho Do Inspiration 2024 combined with the Youth Concert program took place on the evening of November 24.

The three official HOZO Super Fest shows will take place from December 13 to 15 at Nguyen Hue walking street. The concert for Vietnamese rock fans will take place on December 15.
This is a show that promises to be an explosive concert with passionate and emotional melodies.
A new point of HOZO 2024 is to coordinate with the Ho Chi Minh City Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment to launch the campaign One million trees for the sea and islands of the Fatherland, for a green Vietnam.
In addition to communicating about the campaign throughout the journey, the organizers also implemented activities to widely share QR codes in the event space, calling on music lovers to donate trees to Truong Sa.

The 4th Ho Chi Minh City International Music Festival HOZO 2024 is organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Major Holidays Organizing Committee, Ho Chi Minh City Light Music Center and Beyond Communication. HOZO 2024 will take place over three months.
