Provincial People's Committee members meeting: Approved 12 draft documents

(BL-CL) On the afternoon of April 19, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Pham Van Thieu chaired the regular meeting of members of the Provincial People's Committee in April 2025 to review the content of the draft Reports and Submissions of the Provincial People's Committee proposing to build Resolutions of the Provincial People's Council and draft Decisions and Plans under the authority of the Provincial People's Committee.

At the meeting, the departments and branches assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to draft the contents presented drafts in many fields such as: the draft Proposal of the Provincial People's Committee and the draft Resolution of the Provincial People's Council on the allocation of regular expenditure capital in 2025 to implement the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction and amend and supplement the Resolutions of the Provincial People's Council (career capital) to implement 3 National Target Programs in Bac Lieu province; adjusting the allocated budget for 2025 of the Department of Finance (old) and the Department of Planning and Investment to the Department of Finance; adjusting the name of the unit using the state budget from the Ethnic and Religious Affairs Committee to the Department of Ethnic and Religious Affairs; adjusting the funding source of the Department of Information and Communications; the Department of Science and Technology (old) to assign the budget to the Department of Science and Technology (new); the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council on the plan to handle increased revenue and save provincial budget expenditures in 2024; the draft Decision of the Provincial People's Committee approving the 2025 operation plan and financial plan of the Bac Lieu Provincial Development Investment Fund; the draft Program of the Provincial People's Committee to implement the Resolution of the Government, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Council on the socio -economic development tasks in 2025; the draft Resolution of the Provincial People's Council on the list of works and projects requiring land recovery and the list of projects changing land use purposes with rice-growing land and forest land areas in 2025 according to the planning in Bac Lieu province; the draft Decision of the Provincial People's Committee promulgating the Regulation on economic and technical norms for making state budget estimates to serve land valuation in Bac Lieu province; adjusting the rental price of old houses belonging to public assets that have not been renovated or rebuilt in Bac Lieu city, Bac Lieu province by 30%; Approving the supplement to the Plan for implementing the 2025 staff reduction policy of the People's Committee of Dong Hai district; amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Regulation issued together with Decision 35/2024/QD-UBND dated September 6, 2024 of the Provincial People's Committee promulgating the Regulation on functions, tasks, powers, organizational structure and working relationships of the Department of Industry and Trade. All draft contents were unanimously approved by members attending the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that in the process of drafting the contents, the units need to grasp new documents and adjustments related to the sectors and fields under their charge. From there, promptly advise the Provincial People's Committee to issue appropriate documents in accordance with regulations, contributing to helping the Provincial People's Committee direct, operate and effectively implement socio-economic development tasks in the province.
